About SEAG

The South East Alpaca Group, often shortened to SEAG, is a regional group of the British Alpaca Society. You don’t have to live in our region to be a member, although most of our members come from the English counties of Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, West Berkshire, and West Sussex.

The aims of the Group are to:

  • Promote a collegial approach and mutual support amongst members.
  • Facilitate the networking, support and social interaction of alpaca breeders and owners within the region and beyond.
  • Build the capability of those wishing to keep and/or breed alpacas in the South East of England.
  • Champion the welfare of alpacas and the education of their owners in the South East of England.
  • Run such shows and events that the committee deem are in the best interests of the regional group and its members.
